Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Fun report. Really back and forth there with no one side clearly taking the lead at any point. You should play more Tempest matches. Far better than the doldrums of GW's matched play missions.

I'm curious though: Why Starcannons on the Wraithknight?

I also can't be the only one who is sick of seeing so many special characters show up in every game of 40k. Morvenn, Celestine and Asurmen?

Thanks yeah it was a really fun match. I'll definitely be playing more tempest. Eldar are quite flexible so the randomness suits them too.

Starcannons: Just wanted a bit more decent firepower on the model, the big gun's so unreliable and the other shoulder options are piddly. Granted into Sisters scatter laser is probably better as it doesn't care about AoC, but I didn't know I was facing Sisters.

Special Characters: Yeah it's a bit silly I guess. I like taking a phoenix lord or two, Orks (me included) seem to always run Ghaz cos they basically need him now, etc. In Nephilim it's even worse. I'm sure there was a time when Special characters were mostly just fluffy and there if you wanted to try a silly build (e.g. Kaptain Badrukk) but now it's an arms race.
