So, i've come up with a quick 2000pt list using mostly models I have, models I can convert or one or two purchases.
Feel free to tell me what you think of the list, I haven't been able to play even a small point game yet, so I have no idea what I'm doing.

I would leave the hullmounted heavy bolter so you have some defencief guns to shoot when they assault your tank

Looks like a well rounded army to me. You could probably build most of this using the Age of Darkness boxset. Not sure what kind of savings the box gives you.

Is there a way to give a thunder hammer or a gauntlet to your praetor ? Unfortunately, blades are only murderous strike (6+), which means he is not likely to kill another character, and yours has a lovely storm shield that should help him survive until he strikes. Alternatively, if you are to play your praetor with your huscarls, I believe there is enough S8 like that and that indeed hitting at initiative with ap2 isn't a bad idea

I agree - the list looks solid, good choices and plays to the armies strengths. Personally, I would remove the havoc Launcher and use the extra points to give a solarite gauntlet/thunder hammer to the Praetor, as Godardc points out, blades are fishing for 6's when you really just want to guarantee to instant death which is far more reliable. You have a 3++, gives you far better odds than an opponent 50/50 on a 4++
