Anyone have any ideas for Hellblasters?

For comparison bolter to bolt rifle

40k
24" Rapid Fire 1 4 0 1 --- 30" Rapid Fire 1 4 -1 1 -

Kill team
A4 To hit 3+ Damage 3/4 --- 4 3+ 3/4 Piercing 1

So a very slight boast over the bolter to reflect the -1av. The variants just get other spare rules instead of P1 (Ceaseless or AP1, Heavy).

So if the regular plasma is
Standard 24" Rapid Fire 1 7 -3 1
Supercharge 24" Rapid Fire 1 8 -3 2 If any unmodified hit rolls of 1 are made for attacks with this weapon profile, the bearer is destroyed after shooting with this weapon.

The kill team plasma is
Standard 4 3+ 5/6 AP1
Supercharge 4 3+ 5/6 AP2, Hot

The Hellblaster in 40k is
Plasma incinerator
Standard 30" Rapid Fire 1 7 -4 1
Supercharge 30" Rapid Fire 1 8 -4 2 If any unmodified hit rolls of 1 are made for attacks with this weapon profile, the bearer is destroyed after shooting with this weapon.

Should the same boost as the Bolt rifle would make it too good.

Standard 4 3+ 5/6 AP1 P2
Supercharge 4 3+ 5/6 AP2, Hot P3

Potentially removing all the defence dice will kill most things. So of the alternatives What fits? Perhaps the critical ability 'No Cover' to reduce the certainty of defence die in cover? Other damage boosting options would be Balanced (option to re-roll one dice), Ceaseless (reroll 1’s), Lethal 5+. Rending (any crits make a normal hit a crit), or MW1, reducing the crit damage by 1?

Ideas?

(Personally I would lean to Damage 5/5 MW1)
