This is a pretty major celebration within the Imperium.

I've realised we can determine the date for this feast by the 41st millenium, at least on the planet Armageddon (which is a major world in Segmentum Solar and likely fairly well synchronised with Terra prior to the Third War).

The Second and Third Wars for Armageddon famously both began on the Feast of the Emperor's Ascension, 57 years apart. However, we have an Imperial date stamp for the beginning of the Third War: 757.998.M41. Converting into the Terran calendar, this would be ~276-7 days into the year (there is some margin of error depending on how the date was rounded), or about October 3rd or 4th.

Of course, this is quite possibly not the date the Emperor was actually installed in the Golden Throne, but at least is the date that event is celebrated on ten thousand years later.

Lexicanum doesn't show any specific date given for it, so I suppose your calculation is correct. Nice. It's on my birthday.

Seeing as it is a nod to Easter, I'd probably say there is no fixed date for it and it changes each year.

Lexicanum does actually have the Imperial Standard date hidden away on the M41 page for the beginning of the Third War for Armageddon, which I guess is the same thing (for Armageddon, at the tail end of M41).

This is quite possible. It probably also varies by planet or system or region. The date above only applies to Armageddon specifically in the year 998 M41. However, Armageddon is probably in reasonably good contact with the Sol system prior to the war, so would not be unlikely to share a date with Sol.

The Imperial standard calendar isn't really a "day to day" calendar for what its worth. It is a standardized calendar for Imperial recordkeeping purposes. It is based on 1 Terran year divided into 1000 discrete units, with each lasting 8.766 hours(and able to be further subdivided)

Each planet will maintain its own local calendar, maybe sometimes based on the planet's own year OR maybe on something more akin to a Gregorian Terran calendar. If they have their own local calendar, any Imperial holidays will become floating and wouldn't happen on necessarily the same day each local year. If the local year is shorter, it might skip a year every now and then. If its longer then it might happen twice a year sometimes.
