Has GW stopped making gargants? They’ve all disappeared from the website!!

The Mega Gargants for AoS?

Not showing for me either. Most likely a glitch, or a forthcoming repackaging?

Definitely some sort of error. The gargants are some of their best selling kits, certainly wouldn't be discontinued.

I’ve just posted on the AoS official FB page. Hopefully I’ll get some info soon, but perhaps don’t hold your breath.

Though come of think of it, there was at least speculation, possibly full rumour, of new varieties of Mega Gargant being added. So could just be a repackaging issue?

GW's website is linked to their warehouse system. Hence whenever a product gets a change in the warehouse system (which could be anything from a new base size, a new box design, new contents etc....) its not done as an update, but as an entire new code.

As a result the old code gets removed and the new added.



This means that the "old" version gets sold out and removed and the new added. Sometimes this happens and you get both listed at once; sometimes the swap over is pretty fast; sometimes there's a lag.

It's one of the reason their store can be a nightmare because it creates the impression something is being removed when it isn't.




I'd also be shocked if they were removing those kits, they are used in every Grand Alliance as allies and as their own army. No reason at all to remove them unless its for repacking unless someone managed to break all the moulds or something dire like that .

Speaking of ogors, the Beastclaw Raider SC box seems to have vanished too. The finecast Maneaters appear to be gone as all.

Hmmm I wonder if they are merging Ogors w/ Sons of Behemet. Total speculation, just curiosity, and I certainly hope not. I just started playing SoB.

Well SC's are being replaced with vanguards with new boxes so certainly would fit.

So that would leave gits, one of the worst if not THE worst, factions without AOS3 update if gargants were to be 2nd destruction book...That would be super cruel. Ogors at least can win even if it's the identical 5 stone horn list all time or kragnos and/or incanrante plus frostlords and frost sabers to fill battleline

Btw some time ago there was image of aos3 style assembly instruction for gits item so all 3 are getting hints of repacking.

Maybe with just 2 boxes gw figued update them while making more stock?

Think it's a bit more than a re-box. King Brodd's normal gargant miniature was the three toed variant. There is no three-toed mega gargant right now. At the very least, there's a new sprue with the re-box, if we're extra lucky we get a whole new kit with new variant Mega-gargants!

So rumoured solved, revealed yesterday was a solo boxed gargant and a set of 3!
