Hey all, new to the platform. Made this account specifically for this topic but found treasure troves worth of Hive Mind knowledge here.
I run our stock Leviathan Warrior lists. Slightly off meta with only 1 HT and 1 Harpy but flavor still there.

Only issues I run into in my local meta is dealing with 10 man Terminator Bricks. I can throw a buffed up 9x Warrior unit at them and mostly just bounce off. Most factions can buff them to all hell for durability.

1) What weapon load outs or units should I consider to get more consistent damage on them? My best advantage is that I know where they are and if I screen properly I can dictate the engagement, problem being when I get there I don't have any optimal way to deal with them.

2) Thousand Sons termies in particular are heinous for me because the buffs are unreal and they can just pick up and Tele anywhere on the map in the Psy Phase with no penally and can make that Psy Test Undeniable. And I usually run into 2 of these 10 man bricks. The shooting from one of those units can pick up a valuable target per turn almost without trying. Issues is that this unit gets to decide the terms of engagement and begin the trade instead of me and they remove whatever can most readily deal with them first.

Reaper Tyrant and Harpy are great but unless I commit to doubling up I can only apply so much pressure to them and im effectively trading these for a handful of termies.
Thus far the best success I've had is lock them down with a pile of termagants from the Tervigon gaking them out for 2-3 turns and clear the rest of the table but eventually they get through.

Thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Forgive my lack of 9th edition Nid knowledge, but are toxin sacs and the such locked behind certain Fleets?

Would stacking easier wounds via poison weapons to force saves be an idea solution?

If not, I'd say the usual way is to simply 'ignore' the terminators if you can as they are slow. If they're being dropped in via DS then bogging them down with chaff is usually a solution. I know back in my Ork playing days that was generally my method. Just harass them endlessly so they can't do much else with cheap fodder.

As a new Chaos Marine player I'm not sure how I even feel about Termies. Sure, they sure are hard to kill. But they just seem like an 'eggs in one basket' unit that seems boring to use and agony to get them to where they might need to go. XD
