I was wondering if any one is using the RT Genestealer Hybrids in their modern Genestealer Cult armies?

I think i have some old hybrids in a box somewhere and i was wondering if the new plastic arms and weapons fit ok on the old bodies?

Does any one have any picture they can share?

A friend gave me a bunch of them recently. At first I tried putting some of my spare mining weapons on them (rock saws/drills/cutters), but I found those two handed weapons don't fit them too well. So I decided to make them into a pair of hand flamer squads instead. Chopping off the old hands and replacing them with hand flamers from the current kit wasn't hard.

Not in a GSC force.
But I have a couple of those guys serving in an abhuman/mutant/penal legion/conscript themed Guard force.
A whole bunch of Imperial rejects herded into battle by Commissars, some "proper" Guard command squads, with heavy bolter teams behind to ensure the scum die if they try & flee....

I have some of the old metals- hybrids, two patriarchs (one in a throne), 3 different magi and a bunch of familiars.

I'm not at home right now, but I'll post pics soon.

Some of these are the pride of my collection. I won a bid for the throned patriarch on Ebay in the early 00's- couldn't believe my luck- I got it for somewhere in the neighbourhood of $30 CAD + shipping.

I've had some hybrids since the Genestealer expansion for Space Hulk. Back then you could arm them with autocannons, power fists, all sorts!
I've since re-armed them with hand flamers and autopistols so I can use them with 40K.
For two of them I made mining equipment out of bits.
One is holding dynamite from the new cult sprue.
This paint job is 30 years old, maybe it's time to strip it and try again...
