I'm trying to find out what this small extra part is that ships with Intercessor Squads. Can anyone identify it? It looks a bit like a miniature auspex scanner.

Any help would be appreciated!

Funny thing, if the "tube" was longer it would look exactly like an old version of a monometar to check presure in wheels. Maybe part of it is hidden in the casing.
Primaris don't use wheels though, aside for their attack bike. no idea why a marine would need one.
