Hi all,
After a successful Kickstarter earlier this year, Planet 28 second edition is now avaliable as a pay what you like PDF from wargames vault.

This edition takes the existing quick and easy rules from the planet 28 zine alongside the vehicle, solo and co-op rules from the two expansions and rolls them into a single refined core rulebook. There are also a few extras thrown in, with extra weapons and traits, rules for squads of troopers to play bigger games, and off table roleplay sessions all added into the optional rules.

This edition is published on an open license, allowing anyone to create and distribute their own planet 28 content.

Hardback A5 print copies will be avaliable through mammoth miniatures once backer pledges are sent out at the end of the month.

It looks... Okay.

I admire the work put in, and appreciate that it's free, but am unlikely to play it. Seems kinda easy to cheese, though.

It's designed for fun narrative play. I think the idea is that you don't play with the kind of people who are going to cheese the rules.
