I recently dug out a Blood Angels Baal Predator circa 1996 from my basement to assemble and use in Horus Heresy. It is the old school plastic and metal vehicle. Anyone have experience using Contrast primer and paints on old GW metal? The turret and sponsons are 100% white metal, as well as the deck.

As long as you put the primer on right it should be just the same as any other model to paint. The only thing is you might want to get some varnish ready if you're going to do a lot of paintwork. Contrast paints already rub off more easily than regular paints when dry; you might find it a little easier with metals (or chipping) so some people have adopted a varnishing layer between the contrast paint and the further paintwork
