Hi.



For a local non GW gaming store tournamen i would like to get some info and assistance on my oponents lists.
What their most dangerous units and combo's are.

I got taken off guard by Dark angel bikes moving out of melee with a stratagem leaving my unit to just stand there and do nothing.

I will bite:

Orks list is gonne be super agressive. They are comming straight at you. Da jump, truck boyz and commandos will atemt a first turn change, or threaten it. If you move forwards he calls whaaaag and charge you turn one with everything, this is bad. If that fails he will move up turn one and atemt to charge turn two. It is more favorable, but you will be pushed of staying on objectives. Gretchings will do 'get da god bits' and is one of the best secondaries in the game. Lastly, his beastboy on squigosaur is running the wrong relic (he should be runing the axe.) He will do fight on death stratagem, and he hits like a truck.

Space wolves: Nothing fancy, they just move up to attack you. Blood claws are minimum troops to hold backline objectives. He has 2 sources of fight last. (Russ and psykick power.) Lastly his stormcaller will make them all count as beeing in light cover, combines with a psykick power to give you -1 to hit for the first big shooting turn. Also, everything he has can heoric interweene 6 (look out for that armour of russ.)

Tyranids: The harpy must die ASAP. The flying hive tyrants will pounche and fly out of mellee with overrunstratagem.They are yoyo's striking out from beneth the tyrant guard.

for drukari focus down the incubi. Nothing else in that persons list really packs any punch.

Orks focus down the killrigs and/or move block to slow them down. Squigboss is going to be a pain to kill. I'd focus down the squigboyz first before going after him. He isn't going to be that killy unless he gets lucky 6's to wound with his squig attacks so you can either tie him up with chaff or some really tough units.

Grey knights ignore the termie block unless he splits them up. Focus the dreadknights and intercpetors first. GM dreadknight is gonna obliterate most things it fights in combat so stay away unless you have something crazy tough.
