Howdy everyone, I have a funny story to tell ya'll !

I recently was in the "Feast of the Wolves" event in Cantan, GA. It was a huge 7v7, (but ended up with a 6v7 which I'll get to in a bat) matchup at 500pts each. Anyways, since my main 40k army atm are Orks I joined in as Freebooterz and I was partnered on the Forces of Disorder team, (Chaos and Orks basically). Anyways, we played for about three hours due to the scope of this battle and would you know it? Because the other team had one less player they had one woman play an Imperial Knight! Well, I was fine with this but she mulched an entire unit of Boyz in one shot! No morale checks, no survivors, DEAD!

I had some Deffkoptas in reserve due to their special rule. I was able to deploy them after speaking with our team captain in the corner and my koptas came out from the sky and fired upon the Knight! I scored three hitspoints of damage on it, and then I was able to charge in successfully and behead two space marines. Oh, and on the other side some wackiness happened, my Ork Boyz and my Warboss were able to dakka an entire Sister's Repentia squad! Yes, shootas actually came through for me! Sadly, before the end of the matchup my team conceded. However, my Warboss "Dakkamasta Shootaluva" was still on the field and one surviving Nob as well! It was wild!

I wish I could bring my full force of three additional killa kanz, some lootas, kommandos, more Boyz, and a Shokkjump Dragsta but it was my first in store game and man it was brutal! Heck, my team and I suffered more losses than the Votann and Tau on the other side taking pot shots at each other. It was really the Eastern Front on my side of the table!

Sounds like a crazy fun game and those types of game can be really fun with the right attitude as they are often far less about winning and far more about rolling dice, doing stuff and just having fun in the madness of the situation.
