Hi, I am working on a custom project using Kabalite warriors but do not want or need to purchase a Codex as they will be used in a Necromunda N95/40k 2e hybrid.

Is anyone able to tell me if the models with the blades on the splinter rifles (bayonet style) are treated any differently in close combat to those without the extra blades?

I like the models as they are, and would like to carry this over into my game, pricing the weapons accordingly, adding the cost of the rifle and the cost of a massive sword/axe, and allowing these models to switch function when needed.

I welcome any comments or feedback.

The Kabalite 'bayonets' are just decorative and do not have any rules effect.
