Hi guys,
I've just finished a squad but I noticed I mixed the decals for the squad markings. Should I just paint on it and put new decals ? Or try to remove them ?
I put two thin coats of mat varnish on it
Thanks !

If they had just been applied without a solvent (the stuff that lets the decal conform to the surface, like Micro-Sol) then you could probably lift them with a setting solution (like Micro-Set).

If they were put down with a solvent and varnished over, I'd be surprised if you could get them off intact and without damaging the paintjob. A setting solution might still be able to lift the decal, but the solvent will have made the decal weak, and the setting solution probably won't go through the varnish.

Never tried it myself, but you could try and remove the varnish with a mildly strong alcohol and then lift the decal, but I think there'd be a fine line between lifting the decal and ruining the paint job, and what remains of the varnish will probably go cloudy (but then you could gloss varnish to get rid of the cloudiness).

You'd have the best chance immediately after applying the varnish, as it continues to go harder over the course of several days.
