I want to add 2 contemptor dreadnoughts to my custodians. The contemptor dreadnoughts are just your standard dreadnought with very little iconography.

Looking at the forge world dreadnoughts for custodies they are very elaborately stylised. Almost in rococo and imperial design. How can I make contemptor dreads more.elaborate styled?

I am thinking maiby with the vines from the terrain sett. Or some leafs from a hobby store. I don't have any of the forge world dreads to make a green stuff mold/cast to copy the elegant design. Neither have I seen any green stuff world rolling pins with a good custodies design.

I used plastic bits when I built mine a few years ago. I only have this WIP picture that doesn't have any work on the arms done yet. Custodes kits come with enough spare aquilas to cover some ground and replacing the standard head with a Custodian helmet helps as well.

That is not so dumb actually. I considered try to print out the leg decoration in paper and then cut it and glue it on. But your idea does have some merit. Although the leg looks much less dynamic (Sorry!) The plume helmet is god. I guess I can build some custodies and see what parts I have left.

Thanks.

Nothing to be sorry for. This Dreadnought is the monopose one from the Calth box. I don't think you'll find anyone who wouldn't call the sculpt inferior. It's part of the reason why I used the one I have for my Custodes. Plastering stuff over a dodgy sculpt is probably the best way to get use out of it.
