On the mace; FEC retainer? It’s that combination of well-made but corroded metal with barely-held-together soft bits that the undead love. About time they got some models to fit their outlook.

On the incense burner; the arm could be a skink buuut they just don’t seem to be incense types? So I’m going to with the slaanesh theme but take a wild leap and say it’s part of a new Blood Bowl team.

FEC bodyguard dudes, I reckon. It’s of decent manufacture with a definite aesthetic but it’s also old, worn and damaged through lack of care. So FEC - all their stuff always looks pristine to their eyes so why polish/clean/repair it?

I’m going to suggest, more on hope than reason, that it’s a new generic Inquisitor (and possibly retinue for kill team).

Something Necromunda I reckon.

My mind jumped straight to Karloth Valois and won’t budge. What better time for a new Zombie Uprising than in the middle of a civil war triggered by the Cicatrix opening?

That’s…..not unfeasible.

But I’d argue the best time is “just after the fighting is done, you have maximum corpses and their authority is at their most tenuous, because to pre-empt might mean it becomes Everyone Vs Your Zombies”?

Unfortunately Necromundan zombies are the infected living rather than raised undead so waiting until the bodies hit the floor doesn’t actually help Valois.

Yeah, was about to say that could not be more Orky if you tried.

But what is it though? Any classic units were still missing? The brush strokes give the impression of an infantry scale weapon so maybe new Lootas so they can ditch the old Boyz kit once and for all?

Good spot on the shokk rifle. Not quite identical but definitely the same design language. So maybe a special weapon for tankbustas but it could be an extra option for loota/burna mekz

Ancient Space Wolves Venerable Dreadnought

While that would be cool I think I’d still rather have a new infantry kit, tankbustas or lootas/burnas than just a single character. Both would be best, of course.

Yeah, was about to say I’ve seen spikes like that on fish before. And we can’t see either end of the piece so it could be a tail missing the fin.
More damp elves? Or are the Fishmen making their triumphant comeback in W: TOW?

I’m hoping it’s some actual terrain for a change.

Next KT set? It’s supposed to go on the world where the fragments of the Hallowdark hulk crashed.

Giving Kroot; triangular medal thing, bird quill spikes etc.
the arrows are not quite right though.

Some Squigs, e.g. Mauler Squigs, have similar quills/horns, and that metal tag would not be a bad fit for gobbos.

Ah, the legendary KrootSquig!

I’m going to say… new Necromunda beastie. Either some sort of sludge-beast or one of the weirder plants they have, like a brain-leaf.

Gorger with a weapon crudely pinned in place of one had, maybe. Or a FEC critter with similar accessory (remember some of the new ones have actual metal weapons now). Not a standard ghoul though; too big.

I’m thinking Preyton (or some undead flavour of same) – what better steed for a noble knight than a mighty stag?

Ancient Space Wolves Venerable Dreadnought

Not skarbrand; it’s subtle but his wing fingers still have flesh on them whereas the rumour image has bare bone like the undead models. So probably some new undead thing.

Kruleboyz lancer type unit? Orcs riding swamp-gators?

Didn’t the TK of old have a zombie vulture unit?

All the Kroot could, though you can use the kill team kit as regular warriors I suppose.

Despite the singular lack of anything to properly judge the scale by?

I am thinking Krootox Krootgun. It looks chunky, and unlike an infantry rifle, the blades are conspicuous by their absence.

Also it appears to be double-barrelled which might be a callback to its old basically-an-autocannon rules.

It’s for the heretofore unannounced Warhammer Historical: Legends expansion, starting with the mighty Odin.

Corpse-starch is an established in-universe thing.

It also can’t be the only foodstuff, entropically, or you’d run out of people quite quickly. Plus not every Guardsman is a hiveworlder too busy trying to figure out how they keep such a massive roof dome supported to worry about the food; some of them are from agri-worlds, forest worlds, garden worlds, and regular old Developed Worlds, and so would have at least heard of things like fruit.

I’ve seen foregrips with triggers but typically it’s for a secondary weapon. Like a single shot grenade underslung on an assault rifle.

Could be an over-the-shoulder type of thing too; that would place the main trigger relatively closer to the muzzle than you’d normally expect.

Honestly looks kinda 40K to me. Big ol’ drum mag, squared off bits above the pistol grip and what looks like an armour plate on the back of that glove.

That could be any destruction army, and several chaos or death ones too.
Tooth and hook makes me think ogres though.
