Ok so I have an idea for a tau army and trying to come up with a base idea that fits. I’m thinking that tau tried to use ai to fight and it went rogue, so a rogue ai sept. I’m basing colors off of hal9000 (lots of black, silver, red, and a very little bit of blue. Some ideas I had thought were interesting were: black marble tile with gold veins ( worried about black model on black base though), white marble tile base, apocalyptic with skills, burnt/charred ground. I kinda wanted the more regal look that tile gave (evil ai with class) but not sure how it fits. Any ideas?

Marble sounds a little too gothic for Tau. You could replicate that smooth, plastic that they use in all their architecture. Something in a nice, soft white.

Well, you are not the first person to have sutch ideas, other have had too. I did a fast google search on the topic, found an image of smoething OP might aim for???
