It will look really cool painted up but I would definity recommended talking to your opponent before games as that many armigars will be very oppressive to play against for some lists. Just consider having a quick chat before the game to make sure your opponent has an idea of what's coming.

A solution may be to allow meltabombs and haywire to to work against armigars (which will most likely be FAQ'd anyway down the line)

I’m still researching different houses to find a colour scheme I like. I was only taking that many armigers because they are relatively cheap to buy, 2 for $85.

Ah nice.

Definitely don't let it stop you doing it. They'll look really cool on the table.

Would a castigator be a better warlord model?

I got this lancer off of eBay, so I think I might try to just replicate the color scheme since it doesn’t look bad

Reckon a lancer should be pretty cool as a warlord leading the charge. Maybe if he does more than you'd like you could put the warlord in one of the other knights and have one of the other ranks in the lancer. Easy to swap them round in the list which is nice

Have you bought either of those Quistoris yet? If you have, are they magnetized? Because you should probably consider swapping one or both of their Rapid Fire Battle Cannons for Thermal Cannons. Those are better for cracking vehicles and 2+ save units.

The Knights you shouldn't need to magnetize. The arms can be taken off and put on quite freely.

Thermal cannons huh? Guess when I actually got to them I will invest in those. They’ll likely be the last pieces I get. Just ordered 2 sets of armigers which should keep me busy for a while.

Perfect time to start. Knight models are Big Boys, and easily magnetized. I'm sure that you can find some videos telling you just how to do it on YouTube. It'll be worth it at least on the Quistoris with the Thunderstrike Guantlet. It already wants to get close to swing the Guantlet. Might as well give it a shooting weapon that wants to get close as well!

Absolutely magnetise everything you can on the knights. It might seem a little daunting at first but once you get started (like the previous poster said, watch a few videos, and read a few tutorials) it's a breeze and makes your army list options so much more flexible.
