Hi there. Bay Area Imperium player. Just here because I just had a huge 30000 point game and it completely made me feel like I have nothing more to collect or play. The game was so big it kinda undid me.

I anyone else understand?

Big games are EXHAUSTING. I feel like a lot of people think it would be cool to play such a huge game, but upon actually going through with it find it miserable. Many years ago I played a multi-Titan game at a con near SFO (also from Bay Area). I want to say about 7 hours in I might have packed up and left.

I haven't hit the "I don't want to collect more" wall though. I've just hit the I really shouldn't collect any more. Much of my recent activity has been Ebay snipes for old or rare things, and I'm actively going to be selling a few things I don't want.

Welcome to dakka! I recommend to try skirmish games, including non GW ones

Hello and welcome! I have the same problem with 2,000 point games. I mostly play Blood Bowl and RPGs now. My CSM and IG are entombed in the closet... for now at least.
