Hey everyone!

I got a gaming weekend ahead next week and am about to face either Tyranids/Flesh Tearers/Grey knights/Dark Angels/White Scars or Aeldari (I know... a bit to consider ^^')

I hope you guys can help me out with a bit of constructive criticism.

ESPECIALLY regarding Psychic Powers for the Librarian, as I am really unsure if I should take Umbramancy or Obscuration School (and which powers...)
In my list I went with Obscuration... Sooo...

Let me know, I appreciate it!

What are your plans for the Centurion Assaults and the Eliminators? I want to like them, but I can't.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

My Secondaries: Oaths of Moment / Sabotage (RG) / Third one is depending on the enemy

Infiltrators: forward deployment onto nomansland objectives to trigger RG Secondary first round

Eliminator Team 1 (Sniper): Charakter Threat (so far it worked)

Eliminator Team 2 (Las): Firepower Support

- In addition they are a pain to remove from objectives near terrain. Also they are kin do "cheap in my opinion for what they bring to the field". In Melee trash, but shooting i like them.

Centurion Assault: Either in reserve to get them over the edge of the board into the side of the enemy or by "Infiltrator" Stratagem. Their melee is hard and their bolters/melters are for pressure. They might not be the biggest threat on the board, but they are a pain if the get into melee (last time they shreddered a Demon Prince of nurgle in a turn.)

Invictor Tactical Warsuit - Forward deployment to pressure.

Attack bikes, Eradicators, Vanguard - Nothing to say here

Its definitely a cool list. Its thematic and I think its serviceable depending on how hard mode you wanna go. The characters and double elims are not the best choices to me. That said I'd run it.

I figured the cents were for strike from the shadows. Last time I played RG I used 2 assault cents as staples and they were always nasty from deep strike.

Also if your using the latest rules then consider more phobos troops like incursors. Capping objectives and holding even when you've moved on seems incredible although I haven't faced it yet. Plus that allows for more use of guerilla tactics strat.

On that note the libby's choice of psych is pretty close. I'd lean umbra depending on character choices for shadowstep and spectral blade but obscuration has a couple decent ones too especially if you need more cp. Honestly the psych is farily meh to me so I'd probably opt for a bike chappy instead to throw around +2" charge bubble and lean into VV and cents more.

Either way GL.

Sorry, i've mistaken infiltrator for strike from the shadows.

What do you think of Reavers? I saw them in the new box and all, but somehow i cant find myself to go "wow, nice" ^^'

PS: I like infiltrators > Incursors because of the omniscrambler (Messing with deep strike) a bit more ^^

Agree on the scrambler but after a couple plus the captain I think incursors become better. They have better weaponry and mortal wound capability. Anyway small potatoes both are decent.

Never used or even seen a reivers unit on the board. But recently I was brewing with them.

I think as a teleporting scoring unit that might do assault maybe against a weak backfield camper they could function as a slightly cheaper assault squad. Not far off incursors though. Plus maybe their terror troops thing might become a bit more relevant.

And the models are supremely cool.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Honestly reivers are pretty lackluster except for being cheap. Hope next edition makes them good. Maybe ill grab some off eBay while the demand is low.
