DeepWars - Sunken Citadel
A skirmish miniatures game using the Song of Blades and Heroes engine. I've backed them in the past and find Antimatter Games reliable.

They're including a set of 30+ stls to build an underwater station that's amazing. $60 for it.

14min mark you can see the pass over of the table

It's very tempting but I don't know if I have the time to really make it.

Deepwars is great! Antimatter Games is a solid company...I want to back this but I know I will never print this out.

Pity, as it is quite awesome.

Just make sure if you back anything with STL you back them up somewhere reliable, my past experience was Antimatter where quick to take down the files and then not answer any form of contact on how to access the files I had backed.

I always have to admire Louchard's creativity and commitment to his world.

Seems like the STL undersea base files are the star of the show; kudos for doing three versions of a Goblin Shark, but overall the base game's digital sculpts aren't the best work I've seen from Antimatter. I do miss the old days when Antimatter had a mix of hand- and digital- sculpted minis. Bob Olley, among others, hand-sculpted some real classics for the Deep Wars and Shadow Sea lines. Louchard always hired great talent for his lines.

I've got nothing to complain about, given that they've already published (and I've already purchased) enough classic hand-sculpted Deep Wars / Shadow Sea minis to keep me busy painting long after I'm dead. I just don't like to be reminded that talented older sculptors like Olley are probably losing sculpting jobs. Olley's Dark Mariners were classic Chaos Warrior old school crazy mutated, and his Cephalids were barnacled, scuttling, micro-detailed, tide-pool wonders.

The sea base looks awesome; if I thought I'd actually print, assemble, and paint the thing, I'd be all over it, and just swap in the older Antimatter sculpts I'm so fond of. Hopefully the game rules will keep franchise fans happy. I wish Antimatter well with this.
