Subject: Arks of Omen & What It Means For Webway Gates?

Hey all,
With the changes with AoO and reserves being free is there a need for the Webway gate? Also even though people aren’t taking a heap of troops now they’re not mandatory, most marines I imagine are still taking at least a single squad of infiltrators. With this in mind, is it worth taking a Webway gate for 100 points?
My list has an Avatar of Khaine and 2x Wraithseers that would love to make use of the extra movement and engagement shenanigans, but wondered if it’s just worth getting a Phoenix lord in (scrounge the extra points from elsewhere) vs the gate.
I’m building a semi to competitive 2K list that isn’t hail of doom.
Thoughts are appreciated!

Correct me if I'm wrong , but doesn't the AoO change mean its now far more efficient to bring a Webway Gate, as you're not paying CP to put things into Strategic Reserve?
Having to deploy things from board edges takes them out of the game for a long time assuming they're not just a shooty unit.

Part of what you got for 100pts was halving cp cost of strategic reserves. Now you pay 100 pts for fixed place where you can bring units if opponent doesn't prevent you.

Slightly, it was cheaper as someone mentioned it was halved for the army to go into reserve and now everyone gets it free. Plus it went up 20 points.
Guess it depends on your local meta if everyone’s taking infiltrating units or not, because otherwise it’s a pretty redundant piece of kit for 100 points.

If they let you? You've got 6" in all directions from the gate & can deploy directly into engagement range if you wish.
They'll have to try really hard to completely block you.....
And if it close enough that you'd be forced to engage & that doesn't suit you? Then there should be plenty of room elsewhere.
OP? If you've got units you think would benefit from this thing, bring it.

.
My Scorpion doth protest. Remember you have to be wholly within 6 inches of both pillars, I've never tried with a real Webway gate but it would be a close fit.

Isn't the issue that OP was concerned about the prevalence of Infiltrators and their Omni-Scrambler ability to prevent Reinforcements from arriving within 12 inches? The "Rare Rules" section of the Core Rules says:
"Some rules prevent Reinforcement units from setting up on certain parts of the battlefield e.g. ‘enemy units that are set up on the battlefield as Reinforcements cannot be set up within 12" of this unit.’ Such rules always take precedence over rules that instruct you where you can set up Reinforcement units (e.g. ‘in the Reinforcements step of one of your Movement phases you can set up this unit anywhere on the battlefield that is more than 9" away from any enemy models’. The only exception is units that are arriving from Strategic Reserves that are set up within 1" of their own battlefield edge and wholly within their own deployment zone – in this case, the Strategic Reserves unit can be so set up, despite any rules enemy models have that would otherwise prevent it from being set up."
Its pretty easy to completely block a webway gate with a unit of Infiltrators, unless I'm missing something.

This was my fear. Goonhammer mentioned it in the changes for Eldar also briefly. Avatar of Khaine and 2 Wraithseers would love to utilise it. But I could just have a squad of striking scorpions for almost the same price…
