For a second I thought that was a rat ogre prod from the old Island of Blood set. 
Nicely done. The watchamacallit - gryph charger? - is a good fit for 40K.

Yep. I initially thought of using Demi-gryph knights then I saw these and knew it had to be them.
However these are way wider than their original mounts which made it difficult.

Are those Gryph chargers out of print? Or did they get a new name? Can't seem to find them and they are some nice beasts.

the kit is called knight pallador or something like that. Gryph charger is just the name of the mounts in AOS lore. It’s under the storm cast eternals Automatically Appended Next Post: Also warning to people wanting to go this route.
There are large gaps between the rider and the mounts.
The chargers are about 50% wider than the rough riders’ horses.
