My new army for 30K/40K will arrive next week (Iron Empire; Raging Heroes). These ladies combine Prussian aesthetics with a ghoulish flavour as they use necromantic tech. So I haven´t decided on a proper paint scheme for a ghoulish face yet. Youtube (Duncan) provided me with this recipe:

Ghoul Skin:
1. White Skull (Basecoat)
2. Light Grey
3. Pallid Flesh
4.Purple/Red (area around the eyes)
5. White Skull (Highlights)

However I am open to any further suggestions for doing a proper ghoulish appearance. What do you use for such a result?

For the eyes I will use a scheme to make them pop with an unnatural green glow like WHFB or the Disciples2 video game used for their undead troops (gradient green buildup with a yellow finish).

I like using rakarth flesh, washed with a mix of reikland flesh with some blue ink mixed in to cool it down, then layer up highlights with pallid flesh. I then use glazes of yellow, purple and dark green to really build some sickly hues. A bit of yellow mixed into light grey to do the whites of the eyes.
