Has anyone played the video game Rimworld? Well I just started a Wrath and Glory RPG Campaign with models using that very premise.

In Rimworld, you take on the role of three survivors who crashland on a dangerous planet. The group has to build up a colony, gather other survivors, gather resources, ETC.

Well for this group we're doing that but with Orks!

I'll post the overview of the first session along with story:

Chapter 1

Ork boyz Dakka Von Smashen and Waaatrik (PCs) and NPC ally Grot Midgiz accidently took an escape pod down from a drifting space hulk during a boarding action. The pod took them to a hot, noxious swampy world.

After a brief squabble over who would be Nob. Waatrik ordered Dakka to help him construct a shelter from the surrounding debris. He also ordered the grot to go forage for something to eat from some nearby bushes.

While the orks were able to successfully build a makeshift shelter, the grot came back empty handed. After kicking the grot a few times for good measure, Dakka went out to hunt for food. He shot a large deer like creature with his slugga, then they made the grot build a camp fire and roast it up. Everyone ate well the first night on this new world, but the meat could be smelled for miles around.

That led to two jealous orks trying to sneak up and krump our heroes. (First raid). Thankfully they failed! But Waatrik ran out of shells for his shoota.

Now armed with some XP our heroes will need to think about what they need to do to survive in the long term. More adventure awaits. And pictures will be forthcoming.
