- I want to know what games and scales you play when you’re tabletop wargaming.
Now’s your chance to manifest the 6mm to 15mm pretend concrete buildings you didn’t know you craved.
My background is in architecture, and the goal of Brutal Cities is to experiment with different ideas to bring you practical and realistic terrain that make your tables and games really memorable.
Cool ideas that haven't been done before! Here is an upcoming idea which I'm still working on for example - https://brutalcities.com/blogs/news/ash-waste-terrain-upcoming-post-apocalypse-modular-wargaming-scenery The upcoming ash waste range is deconstructivist architecture inspired flexible and modular MDF components. They are great for scratch builders to add some different parts to their projects, and you can anchor them into foam XPS rocks.
Another example of bringing new ideas to the (your) table is the latest range!
I have a bunch of your buildings and terrain, it’s good stuff.
Also want to buy like 50 pods someday for a huge pod tower !
Otherwise, been happy with what I have buy, would buy more if not for big city buildings take months to finish.
I would like more 8/10mm stuff in your style, it’s really underserved sizing in Australia for city stuff.
But I have been checking for what your doing in 15mm and I need more info !

Stoked to hear that - Glad that you like it!
I now have access to 1.8mm MDF - so that pod tower idea should be a bit cheaper and lighter for you!
Hmm yeah, 10mm too? Sounds very Do-able! Would you prefer 1.8mm or 3mm MDF for 10mm? I'd love to do 6mm too one day, that would definitely be 1.8mm MDF.

I would prefer 1.8mm but I wouldn’t be put off by 3mm myself, probably depends on the building as well.
Pods are weird, since seems so easy. But getting good pods is the hardest for sci fi terrain.
I may have to look at the pod tower sooner then.
And more floors for the other tower, table needs to make a statement from any part of the room.
The new kits look great as well, I wish I could have got a few to play with when I did order last.
Too many ideas for what to make, to little time is the issue.
Okay cool, well I have to put it to good use, so I'll have a look at 1.8mm for 10mm and lower!
One day I'll add a lower shop level to the Sirius Caosule tower - after all, it was a homage to Nakagin Capsule tower, which had a shop below. RIP
Haha yes, highly relatable re: time - so many games to play, (or think about playing)!
I've been dying to play a proper campaign of Zona Alfa. Or Necromunda!
If you like the Trapper Biotech Fadelight modules, but want terrain more suited to games like Necromunda, or post apocalyptic games, I have just released a new version of these great simple nesting buildings!
You can find them here - https://brutalcities.com/collections/28mm-terrain-sci-fi-trapper-biotech What do you think or the Barbenheimer theme? silly I know haha

Last chance for the special pre order price if you were after epic scale terrain!
The new range is designed to suit multiple game settings and even scales!
6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 15mm will all work due to the proportions and design style. And the tower also transforms to 32mm terrrain!
So the new range suits games like Epic 40k, Legions Imperialis, cold war 6mm games (Try out seven days to the river Rhine, seriously the best rules!) - Dropzone Commander and Battletech Alpha Strike, as well as 15mm games like Team Yankee WWIII!
Special pre order price ends soon so hurry if you want these great kits!
I'm a huge fan of their buildings. The ones allowing in game access without having to separate floors are fantastic. The graffiti decals they sell are great too!
Ryan also provides tutorials on assembly and painting that are very useful.
Spoiler:
Automatically Appended Next Post: I'll be using these and hopefully at least one more I still need to assemble and paint at Siege of Augusta this year over the MLK weekend. Gonna have some awesome vertical play for my modern skirmish games!
Automatically Appended Next Post: I added graffiti to the big ruins...
Spoiler:
Again, these buildings are very cool!

Every time a terrorist dies a Paratrooper gets his wings.
Let me know what you guys want to see designed next for small scale games!
6-15mm is what I'm focusing on. Hey guys, I want to make sure the terrain I make is relevant to your interests for your games - so please help me out and tell me what to make next! link below to the survey. Only takes 2 mins, and I'm giving some discount codes for your time too if you want any of the existing range (Or anything new released before 1st July.)

Good timing! I haven't played any Mantic myself but I heard their rules are great. Battletech is winning the vote currently, but there's only about 200 votes so far.
To celebrate 5 years of bringing Wargaming architecture to your tabletop, we are running some weekly specials this month.
Last week we launched some new templates and tokens for the old world, this week you can grab our great greenhouse terrain, modular capsule housing (see below) and more - up to 20% off the terrain and products in the weekly specials collection.
Shop the collection here https://brutalcities.com/collections/birthday-specials
In other news, more deals have been added to the 5 years birthday sale - This time, the fadelight range!
If you sign up (form on site) and buy two trapper biotech modules, you can get a code for one free 28mm greenhouse!
I wasn't expecting it but I had to move the laser from storage. It's tricky to find a suitable place for lasers but I've found a short term solution, after which I plan to sell the laser.
But the good news is that at least I can make kits again!
I'm taking pre-orders to make a batch of long out of stock terrain. Including the every popular Bruteopolis Plaza Tower! Pre-orders close end of Jan. Fulfillment time will depend on demand - (I'll have to make an order of MDF in Jan once the supplier is back after the holiday.)
Thanks for your patience with this!
1) If you want a new diceless, brutal combat game with terrain that's also great for games like Necromunda check out Grave Trigger!
I had the pleasure of designing the terrain. (You can just select the terrain as an add-on if you're too busy for a new game. However, the minis and game are fantastic. Very unique approach to gameplay, with lots of movement and terrain interaction.
2) I made a Zona Alfa STL bundle, available here. There's also a battle report featuring the terrain. I printed them in 15mm, because I like that scale a bit more personally, but the STLs are designed for 28mm natively.
