Subject: John Blanche: Voodoo Forest art book, 2K copies
A 96 page artbook covering a range of black and white works of art by John Blanche (who has done many bits of work for Warhammer over the years). There's a flip through video below which shows the general content and what you get, whilst the website above lists that the first edition is limited to 2K copies and at only £25 (though its around £9 for postage as the firm producing them is in Italy).
Figured some here would be fans of his work and this is one book that likely won't get highlighted by GW, so worth a look!
It shocks me how private postage has gone up so much between the USA and UK and yet you've the likes of Amazon just sending stuff all over the place with apparently zero cost over their regular distribution.
£40 is more than reasonable for an art book; but yeah these are not huge books in pages nor page size and £40 starts to become a big cost; esp when the postage is 50% of the cost of the book .
Even Amazon have increase their costs, you now need to spend over £20 for free delivery (or £10 on books) when it used to be £10 (or £5 on books) and they're much more heavy handed in trying to trick you into signing up for prime even when you don't want it

Yes, go to the publisher please and check out the rest of their range! I only got the second book and it's lovely, but well, if you don't like his art, it can be a bit of a miss for most folks. Still need to pick up the first book one of these days, as they do make for great additions for my personal collection.

Yeah that's the crux, it's rightly priced at around £25; I wouldn't blink at that; it's a shame that the postage is so high. The art books where I've spent upwards of that sort of price are generally either a significantly larger portfolio, more commentary from the artist or history/biography if deceased, or both. For £50 the art of Ian Miller was an absolute bargain.
