I find myself with WAY too many printed miniatures now and was thinking of selling an entire army. However I am not sure exactly HOW to go about it.
These are NOT 1:1 copies of GW IP but very nice "proxy" units from various sources (mostly kitbashed from free STLs). All unpainted but 98% assembled and attached to bases.
So can I list them on Ebay? Here on Dakka? Anyone know of other sites that might be better?
Just list it up like you would anything else. Just be clear that they are proxies/3d prints/conversions and you will be fine.
The big thing to keep in mind is that selling an army as one whole lot is typically going to go for less than if you sell individual models - depending on how many models you are selling and the current meta. Eg if you're selling a 2K army that fits the current meta you might find it sells better as a single force - though being as your force is converted and with 3D prints it might not since the tournament crowd want official models they can use at events.
Otherwise list it in as many places as you can see what it goes for. If you sell through ebay and bidding then you are at hte mercy of how things are; you might sell for way more or way under what you want and anything high priced should have a reserve on it to prevent it underselling.
The upside is that it can be quicker to get things sold than going through forums and the like.
Also I would say that a LOT of trading now happens in Facebook groups. Forums are good but slower; ebay works but some avoid it due to fees; FB groups are free listings and so long as you pick active trading groups you will get a lot more attention
ebay or etsy, though ebay is more for second hand stuff, while etsy is more for arts and crafts. Still since you printed and assembled them I'd put them on both.
