Hey all,
With 10th coming and looking kinda saucy I'm trying to get a good headstart on some projects so I can have some options when the rules drop. I'm as good a player as I am a painter
[read: average at both], but enjoy both sides so am generally painting towards army lists - sometimes with a theme and sometimes not.
The armies that will appear on this Project Log are:
Necrons - Vryllik Dynasty: My very quick stipple scheme necrons, purely a get-to-tabletop army.
3500/9000pts painted
AdMech - Fabricators of the Omnissiah: A practical tabletop army in blue and cream, started in March 23 for 10th.
1500/4000pts painted (note includes 1 knight + 4 armigers)
Primaris - Purifying Flames: Controversially a Salamanders successor chapter in a 50/50 green and black scheme. The split of the scheme is on a model by model basis.
100/7000 pts painted
Craftworlds - Kyrilis: An abandoned craftworld left to defend against all comers, a tiny population of rangers who send their wraiths to battle. Weathered and worn.
0/7000 pts painted
Currently on the painting desk for the next few weeks:
Get the Eldar to ~1000pts
- Farseer, Autarch, 15 Wraiths, 2 Wraithlords
- [Soon] Finish tester Wraithlord 90% done
- [Soon] Finish first squad of Wraiths
Admech - Finish final details and next 500pt block
- Rim the first 1000pt block
- Final details and base 4x Armigers
- 5x Rust Stalkers
- 5x Serberys
- 5x Pteraxxi
Other
- Broodlord
- Practise new techniques (build on
NMM practise)
Anyway - that is a wall of text, so here is what I am currently working on - the first Craftworld Kyrilis model, a weathered and worn Wraithlord
WIP and my first attempt at the gems:
With an abandoned craftworld the main models will be chipped and worn, run down and damaged - but the wraithbone heads & weapons will be a glossy black showing their perfect and impervious nature. The army initially is my first one that I am planning to REALLY limit and theme so there will only be Ranger and Wraith units. As it grows it might change, but that is get to be seen.
Thanks for reading, and looking at updating in the future,
Vaughany
