Glorious... simply glorious.

Also, how does one apply to be a member of the Ultramodrines? Are harsh trials involved, ones that would test my faith as a wargamer and resolve as a geek?

We just call it 'a pot'.

Well The issue with the 1st pot was that some ham handed and or lazy jerk got enamel paint into the threads of one of the fitting sockets...

Took it to harbor freight, returned it, got a replacement with a BAD weld on the same socket as the prior pot.

I'll be taking the 2nd pot in for a replacement since I am not suicidal... and the location of the poor weld could have easily led to a catastrophic failure after a few cycles as well as a major impairment in the ability to hold any kind of pressure...

If I strike out with this third pot, I'll be asking for my money back, and biting the bullet on purchasing a "higher end" pot from another vendor... FML...

Harbor Freight (And OCean State Job Lot) is NOT where I would buy any mission-critical items. Their equipment is low end, and fraught with peril.

As i have learned... well i went through another pot but I seem to have found a good one... its in its pressure test now if it holds enough pressure by tomorrow Itll be good otherwise ill be getting a refund, biting the proverbial bullet and getting a higher end one... all further equip will be from a higher end company though...

remember, never trade short term gain for long term. If the pot is cheap, but wont last long - it wasnt worth getting as you will end negative in half a pot or more.

This pot has good looking welds. the gasket sucks but those are easy to replace.

I will upgrade to a better pot as soon as I can afford to.
