I'm superficially familiar with 1e Eclipse Phase as I looked into it for a bit but it didn't jive with me personally. I wasn't interested enough in the 2nd edition of it to follow up on that either personally. I'd love to sit in on a game in discord and see how Infinity
RPG works as it's definitely not by any means an easy game to get into just like the tabletop game.

Ah, I knew they used the same core mechanics/base system but didn't realize it was the same author. I'm intrigued by it (just like the tabletop game) but I'm a bit intimidated by the complexity to be honest. It's not that I'm scared of complex games (I grew up with them in the hobby as a genXer) but rather the combo of inherent mechanical complexity and trademark Infinity technogibberish.
