I'm slow building a Dwarf force in preparation for the launch of The Old World. I intend to use the excellent range from Highland Miniatures. I do have my own 3d Printer but I absolutely hate printing and cleaning my own minis so I'll be buying from licensed sellers on Etsy - still works out way cheaper than trying to buy classic GW models on ebay.

My first mini was a Giant Slayer, I liked it so much I've ordered a unit of 20 Troll Slayers.

Cheers Barry!

And a really boring update for my second post but while I'm waiting for the Troll Slayer unit to arrive, here's some square 25mm bases I've done. I'm trying to keep momentum going on this project so I finally end up with that fully painted WFB army I've been dreaming of since I was 12. These will be used for character models or anyone in a unit I think looks cool and I want their face to be more visible if they aren't in the front rank!

The unit of Slayers arrived this morning, should get them undercoated this evening and hopefully get most of a lazy Sunday starting to get some layers on my Slayers!

First couple mostly done. I must say, I'm really happy with the move to 25mm bases, it's really easy to rank units up now.
