Well that's hella fringe

I would have expected something like hard plastic banditos first.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

It might be a little fringe, but I can see many gamers getting one of these even if they don't play in the Old West. Carts and wagons find a use in many scenarios after all and most people don't know enough of the details to be able to tell that it belongs to a specific era.

Seems perfect for DnD or other tabletop games, leave the canvas off and put a treasure chest, bags, or misc gear in the back.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

Overall a nice piece and definitely tempting to the fantasy crowd.

However, is anyone else's eye drawn unfortunately to the comically deep and wide wood grain? I'm all about fast-and-easy to paint miniatures However, the grain could be half as deep, half as wide and twice as prevalent and still be dead easy to easily quick-paint with washes, dips, etc...

Agree its a nice piece. I can see quite a few uses for a cart like that.

With re: to the detail, just don't thin your paints when you paint it. Instant filler

I actually didn't notice in the painted photo, but when you pointed it out, it stands out on the sprues.

Legio Suturvora 2000 points (painted)
30k Word Bearers 2000 points (in progress)
Daemonhunters 1000 points (painted)
Flesh Tearers 2000+ points (painted) - Balt GT '02 52nd; Balt GT '05 16th
Kabal of the Tortured Soul 2000+ points (painted) - Balt GT '08 85th; Mechanicon '09 12th
Greenwing 1000 points (painted) - Adepticon Team Tourny 2013

Looking forward very much to when this hits the shelves of my FLGS. This will be useful for so many things in WHF, 40K, Bolt Action and all sorts of skirmish games!

looks like my ACW 28mm for Sharpe Practice could finally be getting a supply wagon for some of the raiding scenarios

There's a idea of Wargames Atlantic Digital - wagon drivers and passengers for different historical eras or fantasy.

Have another one: different draft animals (Horses, Oxen, Mules etc.) ideally with some era-appropriate trimmings, or even of recognizable breeds.

Nice looking one. I bet it will sell well, being useful for both historical and fantasy.
