Was playing the first game of 10th and both me and my opponent were considered to be in cover a lot. Let me frame one of the situations that seemed a bit weird but RAW it made sense.

I had a Talonmaster sitting out in the open absolutely nothing around, he had a group of Necron Warriors half of them were able to see the Talonmaster the other half couldn't because of the terrain piece that we had classified as ruins. Per RAW it would seem that the Talonmaster benefitted from cover because not every single model in his unit could see it. Did we play that correct?

His warriors were not inside the footprint that we had set for the ruins but were behind the wall instead.
