On the Tyranid data sheets a large number of them have a keyword of Great Devourer. There is (currently) no reference to this keyword in the faction or detachment rules. It is not part of the Strategems. It is not a Faction Keyword like Leviathan, Ultramarines etc.

The only units that don't have it as near as I can tell are the two Tyranid Warrior datasheets. So that's probably just an oversight, and they all or none would/should have it.

Is it a remnant from an earlier version of the Army/Det Rules?

Is it just a - Yup. Its a Battle Brothers Faction Keyword like Imperium - its also on the GSC Magus.

I see CHAOS on CSM, Nurgle, Daemons, and Chaos Knights.

I see Imperium everywhere.

Aeldari/Drukhari already have their Battle Brother Soup mechanic from the Ynnari.

Votann, Tau, and Necrons are kind of lost on their lonesome though.

I wonder what their plans are for these superfaction not-faction keywords.

I seem to remember we've already seen some Anti-Chaos X+ - but I can't remember any Anti-Great Devourer (In fact the Tyrranic War Veterans are Anti-Tyranid not Anti-Great Devourer)

I wonder what they have planned - Apocalypse II, the Reboot?

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

Yup, it looks like our “grand alliance” tag, to lump the hive fleets with the GSC.

As for what they do with it, no clue. But it’s nice to have the structure in place.
