Mission tactics see attached.
Adaptive tactics allows you to use different tactics on up to 2 killteams out of step with the current tactic. My question is does the adaptive tactics effect the mission tactics being used once per game? I.e. if I haven't used furor yet but I use it with the stratagem would that then lock furor as having been used? Conversely it feels obvious that adaptive tactics would allow you to use a previously used tactic type. But is this a correct assessment?

Could a mod move or close this? I ment this to go in rules. Sorry and my bad

It's not particularly well worded, but I believe the intent is that Strategem "selection" is different from Command phase "selection".

Thanks. And for clarity the big question is can adaptive tactics break the single use for type of tactic used? Or are you possibly going to hamstring yourself with a early use of adaptive tactics?

That entirely depends on how you choose to interpret "selected" and whether that last line in the Mission Tactics is referring to command phase selection or is an absolute law of the tactics. Locally when talking it over the consensus has been that they are intended to be separate and should be played that way, but there's room to argue otherwise, even if it makes the strat largely kind of useless.

No, using Adaptive Tactics to select one of the Mission Tactics you have not used will not block you from selecting it in a future Command Phase. The Detachment ability and the Stratagem are two separate rules and only relate to each other as the Stratagem dictates. Adaptive Tactics has no bearing on use of the Mission Tactics itself.

It could be clearer, but they are separate rules.
