Do you guys think it's a good idea to grab some Storm Eagles and Marauder Destroyers(I've never played AI before but these seem kind of similar for the two factions) now before the launch of LI?I know they have different bases and needs to be rebased, Or can we expect them to come later to LI with the "proper" bases?

You can probably count on a re-pack with the new bases, possibly with a price increase.

If you get 2nd-hand dumps from people leaving the game, yes, get them.
Imperial models are going to get the repackage reprice, as Tsagualsa says. They'll be back, but will cost more.

Basing is probably not a problem for casual games. The dials in the current AI bases may be wrong for new rules, but you cana use tokens or dice to tell you what they should be in the future.

If you can buy them cheaply now, and you have seen that those models will be re-used in LI, get them now.

Genuinely sucks the game got cancelled before I could see Chaos, Drukari, or Nids :(

Supposedly they released the full extent of what they had actually planned for the game from the beginning. Sounds odd but it seems they didn't actually plan for the inclusion of Chaos, Drukhari, or Nids.

Outside of saving money, there is no reason.

You can bet the repacks will have a price increase due to the global inflation.
