Subject: Flattening out a neoprene mat... Anyone have any advice?

So I've got a deadzone neoprene mat, about 2' x 2' that was folded over for a few years... And the fold won't go away. Any recommendations for fixing this? I've left it under some boxes for three days, and it might have improved a little, but the fold is still quite noticible. Any recommendations?

Thanks!
I ended up putting it in the washer (hot water, gentle cycle, small load) and the dryer (warm, gentle cycle) and it came out (almost) perfect.
Much improved, would recommend.

I had one shipped to me like that.
I just left it on the driveway (it was summer) for an hour or so - with the print side face down (so the darker underside could absorb more of the warmth ... Then I hung it by the corners on my clothesline, letting gravity pull the creases out.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Ha. That's genius!
If you lived in or near Phoenix Arizona that might have resulted in a melted mat if the past month is any indication!!
Unfortunately here, (San Francisco) our summers are typically foggy and cold, making such a strategy a bit more challenging...
