Some excellent news! The Ork starter fleet has been released! DoublebaseFanatic and John from Soulforge Studio created a special new wonderful looted Ork fleet for this!

Ooh, looks ded killy!

If I can offer one bit of constructive criticism, though: I think the prows on the capital ships look too Imperial. It might help the Orky look if the prows were swapped for a snarling face, or had a jutting lower jaw with teef sticking up around the prow, or similar.

I found that if I replaced the prows on my kitbashed Ork capital ships (based on plastic Imperial cruisers), it totally changed the look and feel, even if the rest of the hull stayed the same.

the specific goal of DoublebaseFanatic and John from Soulforge was to create this looted Imperial fleet look. Therefore no Ork prows.

The Soulforge STL set for Orps does offer variants though

LOL poor Lamentors! Now we know where their fleet went to.

I like the looted look, I think if I was starting the Ork line from scratch everything would be from another faction with lots of orkiness added.
