My custodians ran into someone me blood angels. Close game, I lost 58 to 62.

His Repulsor Executioner was a beast! It is 230 to my landraider of 260. But I was left with the impression that the exceutioner is better at killing a landraider then the landraider is at killing the Executioner. Is that assumption correct?

I means it also holds 6 infanteri like the landraider (although Custodies are rather buff.) But I was shocked to find it cheaper.

What do you people think?

I think you're underestimating the fact that the Land Raider can get martial Katahs in close combat

Actually I think the reason (aside from it being a Land Raider, rather than something Primaris) is that it has the Assault transport rule which is quite strong. At least GW seems to think so.

The move and charge is huge on a 12 move vehicle. With disembark that is 15"!

Also I can not compere one unit in a codex to another. Neither katanas nor 4+ against mortal wounds got anything at all on Oath of Moment.

I guess the BS2+ is also very strong for the custodes.

Assault ramp is huge. As is 4+++ vs only reliable way to hurt land raider.

Executioner is anti tank gun wagon. Land raider is assault transport. Despite similarities different purpose
