Hey all. I was painting my fighta-bommer last night, started with an all-over coat of blood red speedpaint, which had exactly the effect i wanted. I then went in to paint some yellow panels -- not great coverage, but ok, whatever. Then i went to hit the windows with white, first coat - pink. second coat looks white, dries pink. Criminy, is this the "reactivation?" I think -- I know, i'll paint it black first. Great, black looks black. NOW I'll put white on it -- pink.

If i let it dry for long enough will this stop, or am I going to have to hit it with a non-water-based clearcoat before I keep painting?

thanks,
Coh

this a bleeding/reactivation effect and it stops if the colours are fully dry
though that can take a while depending on the conditions (humidity) and primer used
