That was always their plan with the pilot and they got into mainstream a good while ago; it just took them ages to make the whole series for release. In contrast to Hell of a Boss which was streamed and made as they went (which is why there's big gaps between those episodes)

There's been a rise in independent animation projects the past few years and it's nice to see one of them make it big and get a deal with a big studio.

Helluva Boss is still a very fun show for Youtube, and the Lackadaisy team was recently able to announce that they're funding for a Season 1 of the show via Kickstarter.
