The new GW workshop website is awful but the worst thing of all is that they no longer give any information about which paints you should get for the miniatures. I’ve really relied on that as a guide for my paint jobs. Why have they done it? It’s also daft isn’t it since they’d surely sell more paints if they carried on making their recommendations.

It’s baffling. I never followed those exactly, but they were always a nice source of inspiration or ideas.

Honestly the current store feels like an "out of the box default values basic store" interface. Ergo really not setup specifically for GW's product and thus lacking a few nice features that the old store had

The dark behind the eyes.

Haven't looked at paints but the new store seems very buggy in general.

And unless I'm mistaken they've moved the option to see a revolving image of a model, which was a really helpful feature.

You're not. If you're worried about your opponent using 'fake' rules, you're having fun the wrong way. This hobby isn't about rules. It's about buying Citadel miniatures.

Please report to your nearest GW store for attitude readjustment. Take your wallet.

Yeah, awful decision.

The thing about 40k is that no one person can grasp the fullness of it.

I don't know if they've removed it as there's a servitor image instead which suggests that its an error image they've added and that its likely the new site just doesn't support whatever software they made their rotational images with. Which makes sense as you could move them around whilst a basic store is likely only setup for normal image files.
