Reading the Rulebook, there are some interesting Points:
Page 97 - "Unique" Special Rule
"Max one of this Detachment per Army"
Characters? - Not only Primarchs?
Page 127 - "Loyal" and "Traitor" Allegiance
"Detachments with the one or the other trait may not included in each other armies"
Legion specific Units?
"Future suppliments may add more Allegiances"
What could this be? Black Shields, maybe Xenos in some years?

It's fun to speculate!
Unique is definitely Primarchs and maybe other major characters. And also ordinatus?
The Psi-titan is already 'Loyalist'. Primarchs will probably get the Loyalist/Traitor special rule, as well as (maybe) Chaos Titans.
Allegiances: Mechanicum spring to mind, but Xenos would be amazing.

East enough. Say take commander, add rend to melee, hey presto instant Kharn.
Page 127 - "Loyal" and "Traitor" Allegiance
"Detachments with the one or the other trait may not included in each other armies"
Legion specific Units?,
Already used in the psyker warlord but yes legion specific units bound to come.
Snipers coming almost certainly(due to precise being a thing). Admech heavily hinted. Obviously daemonic stuff since there's dread aura good possibility.
Of course to dampen some people's mind some of these will be FW resin.

think the idea of legion specific stuff is, probably, a given, expecting resin characters and perhaps units at some point.
other allegiances, could be titan legions, admech etc

I figured admech and custodes were a near lock. Open question whether demons, imperial militia, and the more devolved traitor marines will be released. I want that classic spiky chaos marine armor.
Xenos are a fever dream, but we can certainly hope.

Well, I want them to actually finish the basic marines and SA before they start wandering off leaving them half done

I would say if you desperately, really want Xenos then play one of the existing community supported games. Use your Legions minis, get a Xenos army from the numerous sources available, download some free rules.
Otherwise it's just waiting like Timmy at Christmas, there is no guarantee at all (and in fact many think it is very unlikely, unless Legions is a monumental success) that the window will be opened and a chicken leg thrown your way. The AT players, still sat waiting with their *something* in their hands, can attest to this.

Point being, space marines, titan legions etc isn't allegiance.
You don't pick space marines as allegiance do you?
So more would be more kind of loyal/traitor. Most likely candinate being blackshield.

tneva is right. The allegiances are Loyalist and Traitor, not "Solar Auxilia" and "Legiones Astartes", etc. SA and Astartes are *factions*, likewise Mechanicum, Custodes, etc. would be factions as well.
I dont know what other allegiances there might be, but whatever they are probably won't be "titan legions" or "AdMech" (Admech aren't a thing yet anyway, its the Mechanicum in this era, they are different organizations). They are more likely to be named something like "neutral" or "renegades" or "pirates" or maybe "chaotic"/"daemonic". Maybe "cabal"?
"xenos" *could* be considered a possible allegiance though, basically saying "they aren't human, they are neither loyalists nor xenos and hope both sides kill eachother because humans are gross".

Adeptus mechanicum is actually referenced in siege of terra books. But yea likely come to game with old name, not the one they became toward the end.
Blackshield still my vote if gw ever does make 3rd allegiance and not just keep it as option.

Because Xenos don't really appear until 40K (a few bits of ork and eldar appear here and there in 30K from what I gather); I'm holding out hope to see them in 10-15 years from GW. Because they'd have to rebuild the core marine and Imperial factions for the most part too (not entirely but a good chunk of the models).
Right now my hope is on the Mechanicarum side of the game. Mechs, nuts tanks and then titans and all. I will also likely get tempted by the AM and my desire to build a tank core

Yes the Heresy is kind of a 'me show' for humans isn't it. They would need to do either a Legions Imperialis: Great Crusade (there are a few of us doing this already!) or move the setting forward to 40k to properly introduce aliens.
The main barrier I see is a mass of additional SKUs if they do even one extra race. And then everyone will want more, if just Orks come everyone will want Eldar, or Tau or Nids. Remember Epic used to fill 1/3rd of a GW store wall, it was a big game.
And in the meantime the developers & production capacity will have moved on to BFG, Trollz in the Pantry or whatever else.

Thats the Leman Russ Exterminator variant. Would be nice to have it (and the Demolisher, Executioner, Eradicator, Punisher, Annihilator, Conqueror, and Incinerator).

In the Mustering an army section of the BRB they mention more Main factions "will" come. Mechanicum should be first out is my guess.
For SA & Astartes, just look at the lists in the big 30k books. A lot more units & weapon options to come rules wise. And plastic too unless you printing which case it all exists already.

If you mean page 122. It is not a Leman Russ, and it is not a twin-Autocannon. It is a Malcador with the usual twin-lascannon.

given the lead times GW apparently work to they will know models years in advance of release and likely commissioned a batch of artwork to use for box covers and will use them in various products.
if stuff is actually released I guess depends on how well it actually all sells.
can see getting a few boxes myself, can print marines, marines are marines, the Solar Auxilia models though are very nice, and very easy to paint.
bring it on

Looking at malcardon assembly sheet it shows 3 turrets. Malcaror battle cannon, vanquisher cannon and malcador lascannon which is two lascannons. And datasheet has lascannon with 2 shots.
