I have used a wet palette before, using a container i got in 3 parts with only one lid for the 3 of them. Basically, they're designed to store stuff in fridges, but have a bumpy texture that absorbs water in the ridges at the bottom. I once used metallics paints with it (not knowing I shouldn't have done that) so I decided to use one of the other 2 containers, that came taped together. I had tried to clean out the original container, but decided to use one of the other ones. Not realizing I still had a few flakes on my fingers, I noticed a foggy moisture on the bottom of one of the containers,(like when you breathe on a window as a kid, that kind of moisture). I realized since I might have touched the textured, bumpy part I might use th other container. I didn't touch the ridge (at least to my knowledge) and I still noticed some shiny spots. Npw I'm confused, on whether they came like this or if I just touched them. What should I do? Any way to clean out the flakes, or am I just screwed?

My understanding was that metallic paints just don't work very well on wet palettes because the metallic components tend to settle out quite quickly. It's not a disaster that you've done it. Just give it a wash out with some dish soap.
