I've heard others for me to wait and assemble my Drukhari when their codex is released, but I feel it won't hurt to assemble my squad now. However, I'm having a bit of a confusion issue with the 10th datasheet I've fount on Wahapedia and what is given to me in the box:

I am currently working on my Drukhari Khalibites and I'm confused with the Splinter Pistol and the Blast Pistol. I am also confused what counts as a 'close combat weapon' or a 'Syrabite weapon'? Is the Agonizer, or the tentacle whip the Syribite weapon, or is it the sword they can take?

I am confused what a 'blast pistol' is, but I know a Splinter Pistol is well their pistol version of a Splinter Rifle. (I miss 1d4chan to help me clear up all this, I can't find lore on these weapons.)

Is the Syrabite's sword the 'Syrabite weapon' and the tentacle the 'close combat weapon' or is it the other way around?

The options in the rules have been sadly reduced since that box came out.

A close combat weapon would be any of the more basic looking knives in the box. If I remember correctly there used to be various upgrades available for having either a power sword or an agoniser (which is the whip, by the way - not a tentacle!) - but I think they've now just been rolled into 'sybarite weapon'. So you could use either to represent this.

This is why people are saying wait for the codex. I think most of us are hoping we get some of these options back again - but I think that ship has probably sailed.

As for the blast pistol. Blast pistol is a blast pistol. It's a pistol version of a blaster?

Finally - no need to use wahapedia. The Drukhari index is freely available to download from Warhammer Community. Might help you more - don't know how the data is organised on wahapedia...
