Still fresh to 40k, but I have two Cadian Command squads from different bundles I've purchased. I think I read somewhere that I could use bits from a Cadian Command Squad to built a Castellan? But, I could also just build two Cadian Command squads?

I guess I'd just like to know what my options are and I'm not opposed to hearing suggestions on what I should do and why. Just looking for some more information.

You can have up to 3, but do you need 3 it depends how many infantery you have and how wide spread those are on your battle field and if you have the point for them. I normaly have one and keep my infatery within his command range or have a single commander attach to a normal squad and spent the points on big guns.

Perhaps do something nifty lore-wise with the paint scheme and use one or the other for fun and lolz at different games.

Basically, because of how many of these bloody things you'll end up with if you are only buying the bundle boxes?

Use the 'robed' bodies to make Castellans. Sadly you will need at least one or two Castellans, simply for the Boltgun option if you want it, but otherwise...it's the same vibe.

Then you have the second "Veteran" that can be built with the same options as an Officer from the Command Squad to make more professional, less "nobleman" vibe officers.
