Hi everyone!

Just wanted to share my latest kickstarter project, a selection of nautical scenery suitable for great games of yore such as Man o' War (and to a lesser extent, Dreadfleet), along with more modern seafaring games such as Kings of War: Armada, Dystopian Wars, Black Sails etc.

It's going pretty well so far, with the initial 6 sets of scenery expanded into 38(!) sets through stretch goal overload, and there's plenty more to come.

The offerings are split into 4 different categories

- Natural terrain like Islands, sand banks, shorelines, icebergs, volcanoes, coral reefs etc.
- Buildings, including modular ports, defences and settlements, for both humans and a variety of different fantasy factions.
- "Exotic Isles" - Weird and wonderful fantasy islands which float, are covered in crystals, pyramids or bones or are actually giant monsters (possibly the "largest" wargames mimic model ever sculpted?)
- Sea Monsters! Because everyone loves cute pets.

Inspired by the good old Reaper Bones Kickstarters, I have made some fun little treasure maps and a little backstory to go with them in the updates (sea monster bones found on the isle of bones, map to atlantis found on the isle of the ancients etc.) just to make things a little more exciting:

Here's a link to the project if you would like to check it out:

And here's some of the sculpts, treasure maps and preview renders:

Have a look and let me know what you think!

Oh that's you! Congrats on a runaway success. I'm an early backer but quite surprised there's so much demand for naval terrain.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

Thanks for backing! I was surprised too, this one was supposed to be a simple £1-2k project I did as a stopgap, I think it has done well simply due to no-one else sculpting it before, I mainly started it due to wanting a nice gaming table to play KoW: Armada on, and maybe the old Pirates of the Spanish Main CSG that a friend of mine collected everything for.

Luckily I always overplan, so I had a bunch of "if it goes well" ideas which are now stretch goals and almost entirely funded, the sea monsters are a fun extra on top of that.

If anyone is curious, the treasure maps are made with the web app inkarnate, which is really great for playing around with and throwing a map together very quickly.

So to be clear that backing level gets ALL the STL's that have been unlocked right? I'm tempted to grab hop in too

Haha, I didn't recognize it and I just did a hex map for a Dystopian Wars map campaign with Inkarnate.

Base pledge gets all stretch goals that aren't sea monsters, 38 STL sets at current, will max out at around 45 sets if it hits £10k.

Sea Monster add-on starts with 4 salty monsters and will be expanded to 12 via 8 stretch goals.

I try to give pretty good value in my campaigns, I always ask if I'd want to back it myself or not!

If it helps sweeten the deal, a lot of it will be useful for 28mm too, here's a blog post from someone who used the vase mode islands upscaled as stackable hills for tournaments:

A quick (and final!) post to let everyone know that this ends tomorrow, with one final stretch goal at £10k for Jörmungandr, The World Serpent.

This one is quite fun, so I saved it for the end, it's a massive sea serpent which can be used as terrain on a gaming table. You print out the head, tail and as many body pieces as you want and then arrange them on the gaming table however you like!
