Sword-Wielding Bloodletter of Khorne

Hi Folks,
I'm finishing up my Gloomspite army by painting up a Loonshrine. After much umming and ahing, the following scheme has peaked my interest:

I particularly like the dirty yellow look on the moon parts. My question is: how do I achieve that dirty, but still vibrant yellow look?

My initial thoughts were Imperial Fist all over, followed by diluted agrax earthsade, and then drybrush Yriel Yellow.

What do you think?

That could just be drybrushing up a few layers of grey and white, followed by a yellow drybrush over the top. Alternatively, it might be a contrast rather than a drybrushed yellow top layer.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I've just got my Loonshrine delivered and would be going for a similar dull yellow look.

I'm thinking maybe a wash of thinned down cygor brown as a base with a heavy drybrush of Averland sunset and Yriel yellow highlight.

Not sure how it will work out but will probably end up lowlighting the crevices with some Agrax earthshade or more Cygor brown.

Its a bit bigger than I was expecting so I imagine it will be easy enough to dull it back down with some thinned washes if it does get too bright.
