I'm building an IW army. I have two squads of boltgun marines, and a plague marine squad. I needed some melee, i decided to build the nu-Khorne Berzerkers kit as legionaries and have them be Berzerkers in the lore. also saves me some heads for more flavoured undivided squads. I was building a list when I realized, the master of executions can be attached alongside another character to a legionary squad.
Ap2 on his axe of dismemberment is pretty nice by itself, Warpsighted butcher is a nice ability to have in case its needed, but pair him with a dark apostle, give the dark apostle talisman of burning blood (plus 1 attacks and strength is never a bad thing IMHO), his dark zealotry ability is great and his demagogue ability is nice to have as a backup IMO. Now, add these guys to a squad of legionaries with 8 bolt pistols and chainblades, a heavy melee weapon, and a sarge with plasma pistol and power fist (which uses the same heavy melee weapon profile, so you have two in your squad) and mark them all (including leaders) with Khorne and take advantage of Blood Fury, mix that with the MoE's character headhunting CP ability, and you have a solid versatile blood hungry, low level character killing horde. Thoughts on this? know any other ways of mixing buffs in other squads?
Also, would the talisman be better on the MoE? i'm kind of conflicted about who to give it to.

I’d give the Talisman to the Master.
S8 is a bigger breakpoint than S7.

good idea, I was considering it as the Apostle isn't really a melee beast and doesn't have the potential to be one in this list
